The Problem

Your school is a hidden gem.
That's the problem.

Instead of using social media as a marketing asset, most Christian schools use their feeds as a bulletin board. The spirit week schedule, a reminder about early dismissal, even the lunch menu.

That content isn't bad, it's just doing the wrong job. It's informing current families while isolating prospective families. The parent who lands on your page looking for a school to send their children doesn't learn anything about what makes your school special.

That parent is asking three questions:

  • Will my child be known and loved here?
  • Will they be formed in their faith?
  • Will they be prepared for what comes next?

If your last thirty posts don't answer those questions, that parent scrolls on. Your school may be the right place for their family, but your content never made the case.

The System

The four pillars of
Christian school marketing.

Every piece of content your school publishes should do one of four jobs. The playbook breaks down all four, with example posts you can copy and adapt.

Pillar One

Problem Awareness

“Choosing a school from a website is like choosing a church from a billboard.”

Pillar Two

Solution Awareness

“What does a Christ-centered education look like on an ordinary Tuesday?”

Pillar Three

Evidence

“We prayed about this for a year, and here's what settled it.”

Pillar Four

Invitation

“Come walk our halls on a normal school day. No pitch, no pressure.”

Also Inside

Four more things you can
put to work this month.

No theory, no filler. Every section is something your team can act on without a bigger budget or a marketing department.

01

What one family is actually worth

A ten-minute exercise that most schools have never done. Once you know the number, the question stops being "can we afford to market the school" and becomes "can we afford to stay hidden." Walk into your next board meeting with it.

02

The weekly cadence

Advice you probably haven't heard from a marketing company: post less. We've told schools posting fifteen times a week to cut back to three. Includes a four-week rotation you can hand straight to whoever runs your accounts.

03

The referral engine

Ask most Heads of School where new families come from and you'll hear "word of mouth, mostly." Ask what the school does on purpose to create it, and the room goes quiet. Four parts, and one you can start this month.

04

The 15-point self-audit

Pull up your feed and your last few newsletters, and score yourself honestly. One point per box. Your total puts you in one of three bands, each with a clear next move. This is the page most leaders go to first.

Honest Expectations

Who this is
actually for.

This is definitely for you if…

  • You lead or handle communications at a Christian school.
  • Your families love you, but the right families don't know you exist.
  • You want marketing measured in enrolled families, not impressions.
  • You want a partner who runs the system for you, not another tool to manage.

This probably isn't for you if…

  • You already have a full marketing team and a mapped funnel.
  • You want tactics that don't involve telling the truth about your school.
  • You have a waiting list and no seats to fill.
  • Enrollment growth is a someday problem, not a this-year priority.
Before You Download

A quick word
from Elijah.

If you're leading a Christian school, you have one of the most important jobs in the world: raising up the next generation for the glory of God. That work deserves a megaphone.

And yet you're probably tired of being the best-kept secret in your city. I've sat with enough Heads of School to know how this goes. The admissions director is wearing fifteen hats and has no time for social media. The front office has no system for tracking new prospects and interested families. And the families who need your school, the ones praying right now about where to send their kids next fall, have no idea you exist.

In this playbook, you'll find the enrollment system we install in the schools we serve, so they can better serve their communities and their families. It doesn't take a big budget or a marketing department. All that's required is clarity and consistency.

So print it out, use a pen, take notes, and share it with your team. They'll thank you for helping them remove the guesswork.

Where To Go From Here

Knowing the system and having the hands to run it are two different things.

Everything in this playbook works. We know because we run it week in and week out inside private Christian schools. But most Heads of School are already carrying a job and a half. If you'd rather not do this alone, let's talk.
